Here is a short listing of what we do :
is our summer mission project. Collections of school supplies (pen, pencils, crayons, notebooks, rulers, assignment books) and money to purchase these items are received throughout the summer months in order to create back to school kits for the many children who might otherwise begin the school year without these special new items that make the first days of school so precious for so many. This year, 100 school bags were assembled . These kits are distributed primarily to the many homeless children living in the motels and hotels in our Community.
School Bags
It is not only for what we do that we are held responsible, but also for what we do not do.

The congregation provides food to two food shelves: one in Maple Shade and one in Camden. Each month the food gathered by the members and friends of the church is shared between the two shelves, depending on the present stock held by each.
Food Shelf:
Named by a former student minister of the church, the Im-Pasta-ble dream is a Christmas food collection distributed in Camden through our partnership. In 1999, this mission project collected 513 boxes and bags of pasta. Our annual goal is now 1,000 boxes and bags of pasta. In 2003, we collected over 1,100 boxes and bags!
The Im-Pasta-ble Dream:
Supported Groups
Mission Projects
is a gift donation program for local families in need at Christmas time. The program started in 2002. The Christian Education Committee has collected, wrapped, and delivered over 200 toys to families in need in the past three years. They also fill stockings for shut-in's with personal care items and collect food donations for holiday meals for the local food bank.
The Christmas Hearts
Several times during the year, the congregation takes special offerings to support the work of the larger church in the US and throughout the world. National offerings such as Neighbors in Need, One Great Hour of Sharing, Christmas Fund to support retired ministers, and Blanket Sunday/Church World Service are a few of these that were supported last year. (Check the newsletter page to discover what offerings are scheduled and a bit of information about the way that donations are employed). In addition, the church often takes special offerings to support congregations and individuals who have suffered a tragedy or a disaster.
Special Offerings:
Your talent is God's gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God.
